The Schladminger Tauern and the area around Ramsau am Dachstein are an Eldorado for hikers in Styria. Around 1,000 km of marked hiking paths lead to tranquil alpine tarns, thunderous waterfalls and gorges, alpine pastures, mountain huts, and to summits almost 3,000 meters above sea level. Scramblers and rock climbers also find what they are looking for on the Dachstein - here, in addition to the legendary Dachstein South Face, you will also find a wealth of via ferrata climbs with a full range of difficulty.
